Die Antwoord Gain International Coverage

I was cruising one of my favourite gossip sites (dlisted) yesterday when I came across (not on) their ‘Hot Slut Of The Day’ section. Featured was none other than Die Antwoord and their music video for ‘Enter The Ninja’. I almost fell off my chair.

A local Cape Town ‘movement’ featuring on a massive international site. What’s more is dlisted’s source linked to another source, which linked to another, which linked to another….and on and on, but none of them were South African, which means, girls and boys, that ‘Enter The Ninja’ has just about gone viral – which in all fairness is claimed at the end of the music video.

How’s that vibe? Crazy. Awesome. Weird. A little sick. Phenomenal….I don’t know, it a whole lot of a whole lot all mixed up in that one.

I’ve only checked Die Antwoord once at LB’s on Long Street, during a Wedding DJs set, and the oak (Ninja) is rocking that vibe completely. A massive transformation from his early days as Max Normal…remember him? Ya, that’s him. Incredible.
