After my involvement in the first Put Foot Rally, back in 2011, I fell in love with everything it was about. Fellow ambassador @mikesharman and I managed to raise R75 000, and after seeing all the good that can be done through initiatives like this we were hooked. Myself, Mike, Bob Skinstad, and Daryn of Put Foot Rally formed the Put Foot Foundation. Last year the Put Foot Rally teams raised R600 000, and since then over R800 000 has been raised. It’s time to start making a difference with the money. We’ve done shoe drops through Southern Africa, and now it’s time to give back to SA. This Wednesday we start the 2013 shoe drive. We will be visiting 10 schools and giving out 4000 pairs of shoes, as well as stopping in a handing over funds to Project Rhino. And we want YOU to get involved.
As I said, this Wednesday we’re kicking things off in Cape Town, then driving along the garden route to Grahamstown, then via East London to Durban. We will also be visiting Project Rhino in Durban before heading off to Johannesburg for the final shoe drops. Below is all the detailed info on the trip, I want you to have it because we need your help. If you want to get involved, even if it’s just to help hand out some shoes, and live in the cities below, take a look at the times and dates then fill out one of these volunteer forms.
