Anton Taylor. A Southern Suburbs enigma. International man of Movember (a real title). A hybrid of Van Wilder and Gap Yah guy, he cruises the burbs, getting hammered and slaying unsuspecting varsity girls. No one is ever quite sure what he does, some say he only has one subject at UCT, just enough to keep the dream alive. I bump into him here and there, on a job or at a bar. One thing’s for sure, he does not fuck around when it comes to doing anything. Here he is in his latest whatever-the-hell-it-is fistplosioning and getting amped for H2O.

Before the internet, before cellphones, before series and DSTV, we had tapes – discmen if we were lucky, tree houses, and boardgames, and games. We had a lot of games actually, but there are a few that stand out. The big four. Monopoly, Cluedo, Uno and Trivial Pursuit. I’ll be honest though, I really only played two of them, Monopoly and Uno. Cluedo was right up there, just not played as often, and Trivial Pursuit was actually more fascinating cause the parents played it. I just liked pie piece circles, and the setup of the game.

I’ve been meaning to ask you about this for some time now, but it’s one of those things that keeps slipping through. I want to talk about it, a lot, but what’s the point if none of you know about it, but at the same time I didn’t want to just bang it up and be like, here, ultimate frisbee, and hope you understood how awesome it was. Then I saw the below clip, and I knew the time was here, the time for us to talk about ultimate frisbee.

We’ve seen this movie before. You know, the movie about two cops with a brotherly bond, taking on the bad guys, maybe getting in a little too deep, saving each other, etc. There are too many variations of this plot to mention. That said, they are generally very enjoyable. This kind of movie. I’m pretty sure this will be another to add to the list.

Seeing as it’s mothers day this Sunday I thought we could pay tribute to hot moms. And now, we don’t all have to go sit at Vida in Constantia Village, I’ve put together a gallery for you. Of course I’m not going to bang up random pics of hot older women, I don’t know what they do, this is the internet, and searching for ‘hot moms’ would most likely yield all sorts of inappropriate stuff. So I stuck with the hot moms of Hollywood, then mixed in a few models. So, happy Mothers Day to all.
