Don’t Miss These: Modern Family S4 & Downton Abbey S3

We chatted about Dexter S7 and The Walking Dead S3 last week – already two of the best new runs I’ve seen in a while, but what about those of you that aren’t into steaks to the head or calving knifes through chests, you need something a little lighter. And I have just the thing for you. Modern Family season 4 and Downton Abbey season 3. Both are zombie and murder free, very funny (even Downton which is actually a period drama) and easy to watch.

Modern Family seems to have picked up exactly where it left off, the only difference being Lilly (who is now actually quite annoying. Downton has been pretty interesting so far and remains one of my favourites. Lady Grantham makes it though, she’s just too delightful.

If you’ve had enough of gore, or your chick wants a chilled night of viewing, these are the perfect series, because you’ll enjoy them just as much. Yes, I realise Downton may seem a bit of an odd one, but untill you’ve watched a few (from season 1) you can’t judge. Just do it.
