Listen To This: Walk Off The Earth ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’

My personal photographer and slayer of super models @richdotmellon, dropped me a little gem earlier today – a video of Walk The Earth performing a cover of Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’. What made it special though, besides the fact that I really enjoyed the track, was the fact that all five band members shared one guitar, at the same time.

This video has had over 10 million views in less than a week.

I checked out the rest of their vibe, and it’s pretty rad. Great for the weather we are currently enjoying in Cape Town. It’s got a bit of a loose Iglu & Hartly crazy-we-don’t-give-a-shit crossed with a bit of a reggae session sound. I haven’t had time to listen to it properly, but once I do I’ll let you know.

That was super awesome, playing that song on one guitar takes skill, especially since the song sounds almost exactly like the original. if you enjoyed that song then do yourself a favour and go download Gotye’s full album, its well worth it.
