The Liqui-Fruit Girls: Lushano Kuhn

I’m going to take you back a bit now, to a time of Open Time and Sundays Family Time (or was it called The Magic Hour), you know, when M-Net would air just the shows we wanted. It was a time of neon, terrible back-tracks, girls with bushy eyebrows and of course, the start of something we’ve looked forward to ever since, the Liqui-Fruit girls. Some of you may have been a bit young to remember Lushano Kuhn (I barely remember her), so here’s a little reminder.

The outfits in that ad are mind blowing. Gaad! The 80′s were incredible. Now, I’ve spent a fair amount looking for photos of Lushano but it would seem that being a model in the 80′s was a lot harder than now. No vote for me comps or Twitpics, so I literally could only find ONE photo of her, how bizare is that, I mean, this IS the internet. I did find an email address that you can send fan letter to though.

Lushano was only 14 at the time of that ad (which is crazy!) but it pretty much set her off on her career of being professionally good looking. Since then Liqui-Fruit has had a few gorgeous faces represent them, and over the next few days I’ll be reminding you of each. All of this in anticipation of the new Liqui-Fruit girl, who will be revealed on the 29th of this month. She has her work cut out for her, let’s not kid ourselves, so I’m looking forward to checking her out.
