About Bangers and Nash
Banger and Nash, one of South Africa’s leading culture, lifestyle and entertainment blogs has been running for roughly eight years. Consecutively voted South Africa’s second favourite entertainment and lifestyle blog some time ago when blog awards were a thing, Bangers and Nash covers everything you’d expect a lifestyle blog to cover – music and entertainment news and reviews, festival coverage, branded content, fringe sports, travel, opinion pieces, and anything else that Bangers or Nash find amusing, interesting, or relevant.
Editor in Chief Dan Nash did six years in below the line advertising and brand development before attempting to blog full time. He failed miserably the first and second time, before selling all he owned and embarking on a career in social media management, strategy, and online PR. First at a leading South African agency, then as an independent freelancer.
He now blogs full time while trying to keep his indoor plants alive.
