Summer Wardrobe Made Easy

As I go along in life, which is a better way of saying ‘the older I get’, the more I simplify the things that can, if you let them, become quite time consuming and annoying, not to mention costly. When it comes to my wardrobe I don’t fuck about with every new trend every season. I’ll dabble in an item or two, but to fully commit to the drastic changes every few months would leave me bankrupt and most likely looking a fool. So I keep it simple. Black, white and grey for the top, slim fit straight cut Lee for the bottom. Below is the easy way to keep it simple for the right price.

My shirt selection was looking a little ragged, so I poped into Woolies yesterday and I’ll tell you what, they couldn’t make my life any easier when it comes to the shirts I need. Well fitted, shallow V, light cotton. They stock a variety at all sorts of prices, but I picked up two of each from their generic offering for R70 and R60 a pop. It’s a no-brainer. I even chucked in a coloured one, just for shits and gigs.

Country Road also stock some awesome summer chinos, but you can’t go wrong with Lee. I’ve worn the Lee Loggers about 83% of this year, and their straight cut jeans the rest. The nice thing about this combo is that you never have to try and wear anything, it’s effortless, which is why I dig it. Plus, in Cape Town at least, it’s perfectly acceptable for just about any occasion.

Job done.

Nash…
Out.

  1. Keep it simple, keep it classic…. that way you avoid looking like a chop, a douche or a fashion victim.
