I love this. These guys illustrate in such a simple way, how drastically new technologies have changed the average work desk in such a short period of time. In terms of the history of work desks, things changed rapidly with the introduction of the computer. Remember when Enciclopedia Encarta came around? A digital enciclopedia! Game changer! School projects were so much easier. Those discs lasted what, three years? Between your phone and computer, there’s basically no need for anything else. Unless you work in advertising, because then you obviously need a moleskine diary.
