Cape Town Bike Fest Is Here
Morning class, I’d like you to all take a seat, put your phones away, get out english comprehension II and take notes because I will be asking questions at the end, and you will be marked on your responses. Today I’ll be chatting about the Cape Town Bike Fest, I’ll be getting involved this year (16 -18 December), informing you of what’s going to happen, what you can expect and what to look out for. Think of me as your teacher and guide, to a stadium packed with dirt, flying engines and rock bands.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be telling you about the various things going on at the fest, because there is a helluva lot. Miss Bike SA, custom bike build-off, tattoo, music, men doing backflips on motorbikes, dudes racing bikes, a scooter race, beer, wine, boys, girls, food, bikes, flips and more bands. I know, enough to fill three days of awesomeness.
This is, of course, perfectly timed. My bike obsession seems to be peaking. This may be the tipping point, especially considering what they have planned for us in the custom build-off. Here’s a little teaser.
I know, this is like the stuff you see on ESPN. The stuff we’ve been watching on XGames since the beginning of DSTV. Our stadium is going to be filled with dirt and madmen.
Now, I hope you took notes, we’ll be discussing this very soon.
