WANT: A 3D Printer, Or An Account With Shapeways
3D printing isn’t anything new, but it’s progressing pretty quickly, at least in terms of consumer reach and cost. It’s by no means cheap, but it’s pretty hard to put a price on something completely unique to you, especially if you can wear it, display it, or actually use it in your day to day life. I’ve spent a good two hours on Shapeways, a 3D printing company that makes it possible for you to produce and sell your designs. It’s like the Springleap of 3D printing. This is how I found them.

I know. Epic. I’ve checked it out, and they do ship to South Africa – it’s cost an additional $20 on the already expensive tag, but as I said earlier, the only limitation is your imagination. You could potentially have an incredible amount of fun with this, or at the very least get some cool shit.
